Happy SouL Yoga Celebrates Grand Opening in Leesburg,
Virginia
Complimentary 6pm yoga class offered for all who attend the ribbon cutting
ceremony on Friday, January 20th.
Leesburg, VA (January 9, 2012) – At 5:30 pm, on
Friday, January 20, 2012, Town of Leesburg officials will
hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening
of Happy SouL Yoga at 25 Catoctin Circle NE. Leesburg
Mayor Kristen C. Umstattd will officiate.
Happy SouL Yoga was created by two mothers and
natives of Northern Virginia who have been certified
yoga instructors for over seven years. Mindy Piland
and Colleen McGovern Gustavson welcome everyone to take a break from their fast-paced
lifestyles and step onto a yoga mat with them at Happy SouL. Happy SouL Yoga is a yoga studio
for “every body and every souL”. It is the area’s first studio that caters to all ages from birth to
100, offering “Mommy and ME” classes, afterschool yoga and “Fabulous Yoga” classes for those
who prefer a gentle style of yoga, especially those age 50 and better.
“I have delighted in witnessing profound transformations physically and mentally from
practicing yoga among hundreds of students at my Purcellville studio for the past 8 years, and I
am grateful and excited to now have a Leesburg location,” said co-owner Mindy Piland. “In
addition, yoga is a fantastic way to get in shape and is a lot of fun.”
“I am proud to be opening a business in my hometown of Leesburg, and thrilled to be able to
add something new, positive and wonderful for all residents of our continually growing area.
Yoga has helped and taught me personally in so many ways, it is truly a dream come true to
have a space where we can all share in the wonderful gift of yoga,” added co-owner Colleen
McGovern Gustavson.
The grand opening celebration will include live yoga demonstrations and a complimentary yoga
class from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
