AUTHORIZING A STREET CLOSURE FOR THE LOUDOUN TIMES-
MIRROR 200TM YEAR CELEBRATION
WHEREAS, the Loudoun Times-Mirror recently passed a milestone of 200 years of
newspaper publishing; and
WHEREAS, the Loudoun Times-Mirror has planned a celebration for Sunday, October
11, 1998, from 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the celebration requires the street closing of Market Street from King Street
to Church Street between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council recommends approval of the respective street closing.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows.
The town manager is hereby authorized to close Market Street from King Street to
Church Street between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 11, 1998.
