RESOLUTION NO. 98-193
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF
DIVISION
PRESENTED September 8, 1998

VEHICLES FOR UTILITY LINES
WHEREAS, the adopted FY99 budget included appropriations for purchase of two pick-up trucks
for the Utility Lines Division; and
WHEREAS, a bid request and specifications were prepared and duly advertised, pursuant to state
and local procurement laws; and
WHEREAS, Jerry's Ford of Leesburg, Virginia was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
in the amount of $40,638.00 for the two tracks.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The town manager is hereby directed to issue a purchase order in the amount of $40,638.00 to
Jerry's Ford for the purchase of two 1999 model year pick-up tracks per published specifications.
PASSED this 8th day of September, 1998.
