COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, SEPTEMBER 19, 2016
CALL TO ORDER
The City Council “Pre-Meeting” of September 19, 2016, was convened at 5:46 P.M. by
President Pro Tempore Rick Mihalevich in the absence of Mayor Carrie Tergin whom
would be arriving shortly after the Regular Meeting convened.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Branch, Costales, Graham, Henry, Hussey, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, Ward, and Wiseman
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Agenda Amendments:
President Pro Tempore Mihalevich stated that Mayor Tergin had requested the Regular
Meeting agenda be amended at adoption to allow items 4 (proclamation presentation)
and 7 (invited guest Vanessa Schweinshaupt) be taken up after her arrival.
Truman Hotel TIF
Mr. Joe Lauber was asked, and answered, questions about the three new Bills
Introduced (2016-54, 2016-55, and 2016-56) added to the agenda late Friday afternoon,
as well as Pending Bill 2016-48 scheduled to be voted on in the Regular Meeting. At the
conclusion of a brief discussion, Council Members stated they preferred not to go into
Closed Session, but rather conduct all related discussion and actions on this issue in
open session.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 5:58 P.M.
