A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PRELIMINARY RE -PLAT FOR PHASE ONE OF THE
VILLAGES OF TIFFIN, A SUBDIVISION OF TIFFIN, IOWA, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA
WHEREAS, The Villages of Tiffin, has filed a preliminary re -plat for the Villages of Tiffin,
Phase One, a subdivision to Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa; a re -plat to include only four lots in
Phase One and,
WHEREAS, the original preliminary plat approved on the 15th day of February 2007 at a
special City Council meeting, has expired.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed the preliminary re -plat and
has, recommended approval by City Council, with written recommendations by City Engineer
Mike Hart and review by Tiffin Fire Chief Brian Detert.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin desires to signify its approval of the preliminary re -plat for
Phase One of the Villages of Tiffin that is attached to this resolution.
Now, Therefore,_Be It Resolved, by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa that the preliminary re -
plat Phase One of the Villages of Tiffin is approved and accepted. Upon written confirmation
from City Engineer Mike Hart, the Sub -divider may begin installation of improvements. The
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all legal documents, and
supply a copy of this resolution to the Office of the Johnson County Recorder for legal
recording requirements.,
On the 22"d day of July 2009, at a special City Council meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Council person John Wright introduced A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE
PRELIMINARY RE -PLAT FOR PHASE ONE OF THE VILLAGES OF TIFFIN, A SUBDIVISION
OF TIFFIN, IOWA, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA and made a motion for approval. The motion
was seconded by Council person Mike Gericke.
Ayes: Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, John Wright
Nays: None
Absent:: Chris Ball, Mark Petersen
Passed and approved by City Council this 22nd day of July 2009.
Having Three City Council members voting approval,. Mayor Phillips declared Resolution
2009-26 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PRELIMINARY RE -PLAT FOR PHASE ONE OF
THE VILLAGES OF TIFFIN, A SUBDIVISION OF TIFFIN, IOWA, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA,
be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
