AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2009 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for +
calendar year 2009 on September 29th, 2008 with Ordinance 53-2008; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2009 budget be amended as follows:
A. General Fund — Engineering Department
1. Delete $2,160.00 from Salary and Wages
Account number 101.08.080.110.000.1196
2. Delete $1,800.00 from Social Security
Account number 101.08.080.110.000.1220
3. Delete $420.00 from Medicare Insurance
Account number 101.08.080.110.000.1222
4. Delete $3,000.00 from P.E.R.F.
Account number 101.08.080.110.000.1230
5. Delete $1,700.00 from Overtime
Account number 101.08.080.110.000.1302
6. Delete $6,920.00 from Other Contract Services
Account number 101.08.080.110.000.3990
7. Add $16,000.00 to Other Equipment
Account number 101.08.080.110.000.4490
