A RESOLUTION:

APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR A CONSULTANT REGARDING
FRANCHISE AGREEMENTS
WHEREAS, the town's franchise with Virginia Power is being evaluated to be updated;
and
WHEREAS, a consultant is necessary to review other jurisdictions'
compare with Leesburg' s.
franchises to
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
An appropriation of $5,000 is hereby authorized from the unappropriated general fund
balance to fund the services of a consultant to evaluate the town' s franchise with Virginia Power.
