Town of Leesburg Changes Mailing Addresses
Leesburg, VA (February 3, 2012) – Recently, the Town of Leesburg discontinued the use of P.O.
Box 88 as the Town’s mailing address. The Town’s main mailing address is now 25 West Market
Street, Leesburg, VA 20176, which is the location of the Leesburg Town Hall.
“As we looked for greater efficiency in the deployment of staff resources following the staff
reductions of last spring, having mail picked up and delivered by the post office, rather than
sending staff to the post office twice a day, just made sense,” explained John Wells, Leesburg’s
Town Manager.
The address change does not affect the Town’s utility bills which should be sent to P.O. Box
9000, Leesburg, VA 20177, or the Town’s personal property tax and real estate tax bills which
should be sent to P.O. Box 9100, Leesburg, VA 20177. However, all other payments, including
business license taxes, meals taxes and parking ticket fines, should be sent to 25 West Market
Street, Leesburg, VA 20176.
The following Town departments are located outside of Town Hall and receive mail delivery at
their individual facilities. However, mail addressed to these departments and delivered to
Town Hall will be forwarded internally.
