RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND FORM OF CONTRACT
FOR 2009 IRELAND AVENUE WATER AND SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT
WHEREAS: on this 12th day of August, 2009, plans, specifications, and form of contract
were filed with the City of Tiffin for the 2009 Ireland Avenue Water and Sanitary Sewer
Extension Project with extension of service from Railroad St south along Ireland Avenue to near
Interstate 80.
WHEREAS, a notice of hearing on these plans, specifications, including one additive
addendums, and form of contract was published in timely manner, as required by law, now.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa understands the Water Main and Sanitary"Sewer
extension project will benefit the needs for Economic Development within the city of Tiffin, Iowa
for current and future development.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY The City of Tiffin, Iowa, that the said plans,
specifications and form of contract are hereby approved for this above-mentioned project.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa to accept the"Plans,
Specifications, and form of Contract for the 2009 Ireland Avenue Water main and Sanitary
Sewer Extension Project within the southern City limits of Tiffin, Iowa
Councilperson Jim Bartels introduced the Resolution 2009-28 and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson John Wright.
AYES: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mark Petersen, Mike Gericke, John Wright
NAY:None
ABSENT:None
With five votes for aproval, Mayor Phillips now declares Resolution 2009-28 passed
and approved this 12t day of August 2009.
