AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PARKING CONTROL EQUIP-
MENT FROM WHITTAKER BROTHERS BUSINESS MACHINES
WHEREAS, the general fund operating budget for fiscal year 1999 provides funding for
the replacement of the parking control equipment in the town's parking garage; and
WHEREAS, bids were received on September 18, 1998, from three vendors for the
equipment needed to complete this project; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder is Whittaker Brothers
Business Machines in the amount of $40,240.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Whittaker Brothers Business Machines for the
purpose of replacing the parking control equipment in the town's parking garage in the amount
of $40,240.
