RESOLUTION NO. 98-225 ADOPTED October 13. 1998
A RESOLUTION: APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR REPLACING THE HVAC
COMPRESSOR LOCATED ON THE FAA AFSS BUILDING
WHEREAS, a compressor in one of the HVAC units located on the roof of the Town
owned FAA AFSS building has failed; and
WHEREAS, the HVAC unit is thirteen years old and the compressor has reached its
useful life; and
WHEREAS, the cost for replacing the compressor is $9,400.00; and
WHEREAS, the airport's budget does not have a contingency for replacing the
compressor.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
An appropriation in the amount of $9,400.00 is hereby authorized for this project and
$9,400.00 is authorized to be transferred from the general fund unappropriated fund balance to
the airport fund.
