RESOLUTION NO. 98-226 ADOPTED October 13, 1998
A RESOLUTION: APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE TAXIWAY
RELOCATION AND APRON EXPANSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg has been the recipient of an unexpected, end-of-year
grant from the FAA for the ongoing Taxiway Relocation and Apron Expansion Project; and
WHEREAS, the FAA grant is for $620,000.00 or ninety percent (90%) of a total budget
of $688,888.89; and
WHEREAS, the Town's share of this grant is two percent (2%) of $688,888.89 or
$13,777.78.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
An appropriation in the amount of $688,888.89 is hereby authorized for this project and
$13,777.78 is authorized to be transferred from the general fund unappropriated fund balance to
the airport fund.
