HomeMy Public PortalAboutTOL PR 2012-02-06 Green Business Plan program Town of Leesburg News Release For Immediate Release Leesburg Environmental Advisory Commission Offers Free “Green” Business Plan Program Leesburg, VA (February 6, 2012) – Have you written your business plan to maximize cost savings with “green” measures? Do you have one hour to spare to see how your business plan measures up and learn about new “green” business practices? The Leesburg Environmental Advisory Commission will host a free “green bag” luncheon program entitled “Building a Green Business Plan Using a Personal Review Checklist” from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012. The program will be held in the Town Council Chambers on the second floor of Town Hall, 25 West Market Street in downtown Leesburg. The program will be facilitated by the EAC’s Vice Chair Mary Haberl. Topics covered during the program include: Education & Outreach, Energy Savings, Waste Management, Water Conservation, and Toxic Prevention. Participants will learn new measures they can incorporate into their business plans both from the checklist and from each other.
