RESOLUTION NO. 98-245
ADOPTED October 27, 1998
A RESOLUTION:
AUTHORIZING A STREET CLOSURE FOR THE LEESBURG
TODAY l0TM ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
WHEREAS, Leesburg Today has relocated its offices to the comer of Market and
King Streets; and
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Today has planned a block party to celebrate its l0th
anniversary on Friday, November 20, 1998, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, this celebration requires the closing of King Street between Loudoun
and Market Streets between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council recommends approval of the respective street
closing.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
The Town Manager is hereby authorized to close King Street between Loudoun
and Market Streets between the hours of 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., on Friday, November
20, 1998 to allow Leesburg Today to celebrate its l0th anniversary.
