A RESOLUTION:
PRESENTED November 17, 1998

AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT TO
PURCHASE BATTLEFIELD PARKWAY RIGHT OF WAY FROM
REHAU
and
WHEREAS, Battlefield Parkway is a major component of the 1997 adopted Town Plan;
WHEREAS, Battlefield Parkway's right of way has not yet been secured; and
WHEREAS, Battlefield Parkway is planned to cross property currently owned by Rehau.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract that generally
conforms with the attached draft contract, with Rehau for the purpose of acquiring necessary
Battlefield Parkway right of way.
SECTION II. The final draft of the contract shall be approved by the deputy town
attorney prior to execution.
