AUTHORIZING TASK ORDERS//4 AND//5 TO THE CH2M HILL GENERAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 98-35 authorized a five-year General Services Agreement with CH2M
Hill for wastewater engineering services; and
WHEREAS, CI-I2M Hill is nearing completion of Phase II (design phase) services for the
Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) Upgrade project at the Water Pollution Control Facility; and
WHEREAS, CH2M Hill has proposed a lump-sum cost for Bid Phase services on the BNR project,
referenced as Task Order//4, in the amount of $42,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the study phase for Biosolids Management Upgrade (BMU) has concluded with a
recommendation for construction of a biosolids drying unit and auxiliary equipment; and
WHEREAS, CH2M Hill has submitted Task Order//5, a lump-sum cost proposal for preliminary
and final design of the recommended improvements, in the amount of $500,000.00.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The town manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute Task Orders #4 and//5, in the
following amounts: $42,000.00 for Task Order//4 and $500,000.00 for Task Order//5 for engineering
services related to the Water Pollution Control Facility BNR/BMU Upgrade.
