Commission will host the 5th annual Home Owners
Associations Tree Care Summit on Saturday, March 17,
2012, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.. The program will be held

An overview of the Town’s Urban Forestry Program
Hiring a tree care professional
Best practices for selecting, planting and
maintaining trees
Demonstrations will include:

Associations (HOAs) about effective ways to manage trees on their properties. HOAs are
among the largest landowners in Leesburg and, therefore, have the opportunity to contribute
significantly to the development of the Town’s Tree Canopy, as they beautify their own
environments.
The event is free and open to the general public. Individuals and tree care professional are
invited to attend. To RSVP for the Tree Care Summit, please email Bill Ference, Acting Urban
