A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF TIF FUNDS FOR FINANCING THE
2009 IRELAND AVENUE WATER MAIN AND SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION
PROJECT
WHEREAS: the City Council notes that the 2009 Ireland Avenue Water Main and
Sanitary Sewer Extension Project will create an economic benefit to the City;
AND WHEREAS: the area of extension' of sanitary sewer lies within the existing
TIF district in the City;
AND WHEREAS, the City Council desires to use TIF funds for payment of the
construction of the 2009 Ireland Avenue Water Main and Sanitary Sewer Extension
Project. y
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CitV of Tiffin, Iowa, that the City
Council hereby authorizes the use of TIF funds by the City for payment of the 2009
Ireland Avenue Water Main Sanitary Sewer Extension Project.
On this 12th day of August 2009, at a regular meeting of Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,'Iowa,
Council person Mark Petersen introduced A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE
OF TIF FUNDS FOR FINANCING THE 2009 IRELAND AVENUE WATER MAIN AND
SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT and made a motion for approval. The
motion was seconded by Council person John Wright.
AYES: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen, John Wright.
NAYS: None
ABSENT: None
WHEREUPON., five votes approved, Mayor Phillips declared that Resolution 2009-30
be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
PASSED, AND APPROVED THIS 12TH DAY OF August 2009.
