John O'Reilly representing Scott'Rjley. Upgrading septic system. Dimensional variances to property line slab
and well. Septic system is down gradient from the well. Board asked ifTown water was installed, would
variances still be needed. JO stated that the variances would be less if town water was available. EUJ stated
that town counsel had stated previously that SR has the legal right to bring town water to the property. He
just needs to worK out the details with Ken Parsons.
Motion: JH-denY variance request. Septic system could be put in with fewer variances if town water
was installed. pB seconded.
Motion: JH-withdraw motion. Have JO bring these plans back to SRand worK on getting town water.
Have JO work on plans that do not show a well. Continue this until January 2, 200 meeting. pB
seconded for discussion. 4 Yes.
Motion: JH-inform SRthat as of January 1n, the well can no longer be used and must be sealed. JR

Requesting an extension of herRET inspection. It will expire in January of 200.
Motion: JR;denY request. Must inspect if house is selling after date. DT3 seconded. 4 Yes.
s:3o Foster WoodworKing-request to Keep existing septic for addition
putting addition on and had a septic inspection which found that the S.qS was closer than soo feec of a
pond. ,ASKing to Keep current septic system where it is.

Stephen Hayes. Leaching area is below the slab. Requesting a 9 foot variance from the foundation to
leaching area.
Motion: pB-grant variance for the 9 foot setbacK from the foundation to the edge of existing

Motion: pB-grant variance but owners will have to replace tanK in 201. J2 seconded. ~ Yes.

Stephanie Sequin. 16,000 SF lot, in Zone 2. Want a 2 bedroom house using ~ system. No town water
available, have to put in a well. Would be IooKing for variances from road for well. EW-if this plan was
submitted it would probably be approved, but IooKing into town water would be the better way to go. Owner
should IooK into it.

Charles Ferullo. NI counted 7 rooms, maKes it four bedrooms, system is only good for 3 bedrooms, and it is in
zone 2. This was a second floor that was semi finished already without permits and now it needs to be
rectified so the work can be completed.
Motion: pli-allow owners to finish 1 bedroom and bathroom upstairs. If they want to finish the other
room upstairs they would have to upgrade septic system. JRseconded. 4 Yes.
