EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT: (continued)
B. During the auditors' inspection of one of our senior apartments we
discovered that a small fire had taken place which was never reported
to the office. There was minimal damage to a drawer face and a
cabinet door. There was also a shove fire at Huckleberry which was
pretty much contained in the cleaning unit of the stove. We replaced
the stove and reported the incidents to DHCD.
CORRESPONDENCE: Correspondence listing is made a part of these minutes.
OLD BUSINESS:
A. We have finally settled the truck problem. Mr. Dugan & Mr. McElroy
looked at 3 trucks and we will be getting a one ton dump truck with
plow. The DPW is going over the truck and we should have it in
a couple of weeks.
NEW BUSINESS
A. In response to Mr. Dugan's request to look into a Pay Down program
for first time homebuyers, Ms. Courchesne spoke with Ms. Seldin,
who sits on the Chatham Affordable Housing Committee, about this
program and she sent us a copy of their Buy Down Program. Copies
have been placed in the packets. Ms. Courchesne presented it to
the Local Housing Partnership as a possible joint project and they
reacted favorably. She asked the commissioners to review the
program and be prepared to discuss and vote on it at the next meeting.
B. The informational session for the commissioners was postponed until
next meeting so that Mr. Dugan could be present.

motion which passed unanimously.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: There was no Executive Session.
