REQUESTING APPROXrAL OF INSERTION OF $25,000
THE 1995 BUDGET REVENUEA%rAILABLE FROM THE
COPS FAST PROGRAM GRANT
WHEREAS, N.J.S. 40:4-87 provides tha~ the Director of Local
Government Services may approve the insertion of any special
item of revenue in the budget of any municipality when such
item shall have been made available bylaw and the amount
thereof was not determined at the time of the adoption of the
budget, and
WHEREAS, said Director may also approve the insertion of any
item of appropriation for equal amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough of Carteret
hereby requests the Director of the Division of Local
Government Services to approve the insertion of an item of
revenue in the budget of the year 1995 in the sum of $25,000
which item is now available as a revenue from the Cops Fast
program Grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a like sum of $25,000 be and the
same is hereby appropriated under the caption of:
Cops Fast Program Grant $25,000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $8,334 representing the
minimum amount required for the Borough's share of the
aforementioned undertaking appears in the budget for the year
1995 under the caption of Matching Funds for Grants, and is
hereby appropriated under the caption of Cops Fast Program
Grant, and any additional (overmatch) as stated in the grant
will be provided from the existing 1995 Budget Appropriations
within Cap.
Adopted this 15th day of June, 1995
and certified as a true copy of the
original on June 16, 1995.
