RESOLUTION NO. 99-57
A RESOLUTION:
PRESENTED March 9, 1999
ADOPTED MarchlO, 1999
AUTHORIZING THE DEPUTY TOWN ATTORNEY AND/OR
THE MAYOR TO CORRESPOND WITH THE REHAU
CORPORATION AND THE CARR FAMILY REGARDING A
CONSERVATION AND/OR HISTORIC EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Planning Commission requested the Town Council to
pursue a conservation and/or historic easement on the site of the Confederate fort known
as "Fort Evans" located on the Rehau property; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires to pursue this request.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
The Leesburg Town Council hereby authorizes the Deputy Town Attorney and/or
the Mayor to correspond with the appropriate representative of the Rehau Corporation
and the Carr family regarding a conservation and/or historic easement on the site of the
Confederate fort known as "Fort Evans."
