ORDINANCE NO.2001-03
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 2.60 IN ITS ENTIRETY AND ADOPTING
CHAPTER 2.60 TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Chapter 2.60 of the Moab Municipal Code covers Personnel Policies and
Procedures; and
WHEREAS, the Council adopts the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual by
Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the manual from time to time to address changes in
circumstances, state and federal regulations, as well as the City Council's Policy
Direction; and
WHEREAS, codifying these periodic charges in to the Moab Municipal Code is
cumbersome and costly;
NOW THEREFORE, Section 2.60 of the Moab Municipal Code is hereby repealed and
reenacted as follows:
2.60 Personnel Rules
Personnel rules shall be established by the Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual,
which shall be adopted by Resolution of the City Council.
