A RESOLUTION:
PRESENTED March 9, 1999
99-67 ADOPTED March10, 1999
AUTHORIZING THE USE OF THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS
AND LOWER LEVEL MEETING ROOM
WHEREAS, the Reverand Canty of the Christ Chapel AME Church has requested
the use of the Council Chambers on Sunday, March 28, 1999, from 3:30 p.m., to 6:30
p.m., to conduct a special service; and
WHEREAS, Reverand Canty has also requested the use of the lower level
meeting room on Saturday, March 27, 1999, from 8:00 a.m., to 6:00 p.m., to conduct a
men' s retreat.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
Permission to rent the Council Chambers and lower level meeting room on
Sunday, March 28, 1999 and Saturday, March 27, 1999, respectively, by the Christ
Chapel AME Church is hereby granted.
