RESOLUTION NO. 99-70 ADOPTED March 16, 1999
A RESOLUTION: APPOINTING MERVIN V. JACKSON TO THE LEESBURG
TOWN COUNCIL
WHEREAS, in accordan~ce with Section 2-6 of the Leesburg Town Code,
vacancies in the office of council member for whatever cause shall be filled for the
unexpired portion of the term by majority vote of the remaining members of the council;
and
WHEREAS, Joseph R. Trocino resigned from the Leesburg Town Council.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
Mervin V. Jackson is hereby appointed to the Leesburg Town Council to fill the
unexpired term of Joseph R. Trocino.
PASSED this 16m day of March, 1999.
