RESOLUTION NO. 99-75 ADOPTED March 23, 1999
A RESOLUTION: MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR RENOVATIONS TO THE
THIRD FLOOR OF THE TOWN OFFICE BUILDING
WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering and Public Works is scheduled to move from
the second floor to the third floor of the town office; and
WHEREAS, renovation work including repairs and new furniture items is necessary to
provide the office and work station space needed for Engineering and Public Works functions;
and
WHEREAS, the cost of the renovation is estimated at $55,000.00; and
WHEREAS, moving the Engineering and Public Works Department to the third floor is
necessary to provide office space for new employees and other departments.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
An appropriation in the amount of $55,000 is authorized from the unappropriated general
fund balance to Buildings and Grounds Account 200.4301.
