by Bill Luebbert at 4:05 p.m. A quorum was present.
Approval of Minutes from the July 6, 2016 meeting:
A motion was made by Richard Green and seconded by Sam Thomas to approve the minutes
of the July 6, 2016 meeting. Motion passed by show of hands.
Review License Applications:
• Jonathon Farrell was seeking approval to take his Journeyman test. A motion was made
by Jim Gooch and seconded by Richard Green to deny Mr. Farrell's request because
more documentation of hours would be needed. Motion passed by show of hands.
• Jon Bussey was seeking approval to take his Journeyman test. A motion was made by
Sam Thomas and seconded by Chris Bruemmer to deny Mr. Bussey's request because
more documentation of hours would be needed. Motion passed by show of hands.
Old Business:
Approving hours of industrial electricians so that they could take their Journeyman test, such as
those working at Unilever, was discussed. Jim Gooch commented that these electricians have a
variety of electrical experience and maybe those hours should be considered.
New Business:
There was discussion of updating the City Code with regard to the Electrical Section of the
Building Code.
Schedule Next Meeting:
The next meeting was tentatively set for November 2, 2016.
Adjournment:
With no further business the meeting adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Bill Luebbert
