IONA COMMUNITY CENTER PRESENT: Mayor Brad Andersen, Council President Dennis McArthur, Council member Dan Gubler, Public Works Supervisor Zech Prouse, City Clerk Robyn Keyes. ABSENT: Council member Steve Elliott, Council member Jane Shaw, VISITORS: Deb Sorenson, Malinda Edwards The proposed increase to Ammon's impact area was reviewed. The Council agreed that the proposed changes would not affect the City of Iona. The Council discussed the increasing Iona's impact area north to Highway 26, then north on 26 to 81st, and up 81st to Panorama Hills. Council member Gubler suggested meeting with Iona Bonneville Sewer District to see if they would accept Panorama Hills and if the increased impact area was possible. The Council agreed that there was no reason to increase the impact area to the west any further than it already was at Honey Bee Lane. Council member Gubler said the impact area should go far enough east to include Bridal Falls on the Iona hill. Council member Gubler said the cemetery had its own district and could never become City property. Council member Gubler suggested abandoning the idea of increasing the impact zone to the south to include the Iona Cemetery. The Council agreed. Mayor Andersen said Attorney Storer was in the process of determining the requirements for the City to provide water service for the Reinhart development north on 55th Tree report. Clerk Keyes said there had been more problems with the data for the tree inventory. The Committee was still working on the information. Mayor Andersen welcomed Malinda Edwards and introduced her to the Council. Ms. Edwards was helping the City secure grant money for different projects. Ms. Edwards asked the Council if she secured grant money for trees, where would the trees go. Clerk Keyes said until another park was developed, there was not much room for more trees right now. Ms. Edwards asked if the City had secured land for a future pool. Mayor Andersen said the City had not, and was not ready to make any decisions involving a swimming pool right now. fiN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the following hearing will be held in the Bonneville County Courthouse, 605 N.
