TOWN OF BREWSTER MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD
Tuesday, January 17, 2006 7:00 P.M.
Brewster Town Office Building
1. Present: Chairman Henchy convened the Planning Board meeting at 7:OOPM in the Brewster Town
Office Building with members Taylor, Bugle, Tubman, McMullen and Remy present.
2. ROAD NAME CHANGE HEARING
FORMER NAMES: LOCUS: PROPOSED CHANGE:
0 PINE POND ROAD FROM DENNIS/AIRLINE ROAD TO PILOT DRNE MARIE CARTWAY
TO UNNAMED CARTWAY MAP 38 LOT 92
MAIN STREET OFF MAIN STREET AKA FOSTER SQUARE FOSTER SQUARE
MAP 15 LOT 107
3. With a quorum present Chairman Henchy opened the public hearing for the above road name changes,
there was no opposition to the requests. The change to Marie Cartway was requested by the fire
department, for an existing home that was located out on a unnamed Cartway. The Foster Square request
was made by John McMullen, to allow all the businesses to have an address of Foster Square and to
allow postal delivery to them.
4. Motion by Bugle, Remy second, "accept change from 0 Pine Pond Road to Marie Cartway", All voted in
favor.
5. Motion by Bugle, Taylor second, "accept change from Main Street to Foster Square", All voted in favor
with John McMullen abstaining.
6. Discuss letter from Carroll Johnson -The Board received a letter from Mr. Carroll Johnson regarding
the drainage for Winstead Road, the Board had asked the engineer John O'Reilly to respond. He did
stating that the Road was not finished and an as-built had not been done yet. The Board accepted this
response.
7. Motion by Bugle, McMullen second, the meeting adjourned at 7:30PM.
