A RESOLUTION:

AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
EVERGREEN WELL #2A
WHEREAS, bid documents for construction of the Evergreen Well #2A were prepared and
publicly advertised pursuant to state and local procurement laws; and
WHEREAS, one bid was received and publicly opened on March 26, 1999 and publicly
opened; and
WHEREAS, Valley Drilling Corporation was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
in the amount of $25,314.00.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The Acting Town Manager is hereby directed to enter into an agreement with Valley
Drilling Corporation, in a form approved by the town attorney, for construction of the Evergreen
Well #2A in the amount of $25,314.00.
