RESOLUTION NO. 99-117 ADOPTED April 13, 1999
A RESOLUTION: MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE PLANNING AND
ZONING AND ADMINISTRATION AND PUBLIC WORKS
COMMITTEES AND APPOINTING A CHAIRMAN OF THE
ADMINISTRATION AND PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, on March 16, 1999, Mervin Jackson was appointed to the Leesburg Town
Council to fill the unexpired term of Councilmember Trocino; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Administration and Public Works Committee due to
the March 1, 1999, resignation of Councilmember Trocino; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Trocino served as Chairman of the Administration and Public Works
Committee.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. Mervin Jackson is hereby appointed to the Planning and Zoning
Committee of the Leesburg Town Council.
SECTION II. Leonard McDonald is hereby appointed to the Administration and Public
Works Committee of the Leesburg Town Council.
SECTION III. Frank Buttery is appointed Chairman of the Administration and Public
Works Committee of the Leesburg Town Council.
PASSED this 13th day of April, 1999.
