AUTHORIZING A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR A
POLICE MANAGEMENT STUDY
WHEREAS, during deliberations on the fiscal year 2000 budget the Council
directed J. Hamilton Lambert and Associates to prepare a Request for Proposals (RFP)
for a management study of the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, a draft RFP was submitted and approved by the Finance Committee
of the Town Council (with changes) for release to consulting firms experienced in
conducting such studies.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg that the
Acting Town Manager in conjunction with J. Hamilton Lambert and Associates is
authorized to release an RFP for a management study of the Police Department as is
proposed in the attached draft of the Organization Review.
