A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF THE SPECIAL ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S
STREET DANCE TO ALLOW CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL WITHIN FENCED AREA IN
STREET AREA IN FRONT OF SLIM'S ON AUGUST 15, 2009.
WHEREAS, Slim's has requested the approval of a Special Alcohol Permit for the Street
Dance on August 15, 2009.
WHEREAS, the City Council has not discovered any reason to deny the renewal of the
Special Alcohol Permit to Slim's for Street Dance, located on Third St., in Tiffin, Iowa in a-
secured fenced area on August 15, 2009.
NOW THERFORE BE IT APPROVED, the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa has
reviewed and will determine the granting of the Special Request for an Alcohol Permit
requested by Slim's for August 15, 2009. Therefore City Council directs the City Clerk to
submit for local authority, approval of permit to the State of Iowa Alcoholic Beverages
Division.
On the 12th day of August 2009, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa_ .
Councilperson Mark Petersen introduced Resolution 2009-24 A RESOLUTION
APPROVING OF THE SPECIAL ALCOHOL PERMIT FOR SLIM'S STREET DANCE TO
ALLOW CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL WITHIN FENCED AREA IN STREET AREA IN
FRONT OF SLIM'S ON AUGUST 15, 2009 and made a motion for Motion seconded by
Council person Mike Gericke.
Ayes: Chris Ball, Jim Bartels, Mike Gericke, Mark Petersen.
Nays: None
Absent: None
WHEREUPON, four City Council persons having voted Aye, the Mayor Royce Phillips
declared that the RESOLUTION 2009-33, by adopted and signified his approval of the same
by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed and approved by the City Council on the 12th day of August 2009.
