This Agreement is entered into this _28th day of _January_, 2010, and effective January 1,
2010, by and between the City of Richmond, Richmond, Indiana (hereinafter "City") and Richmond
Sanitary District (hereinafter "RSD")
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the position of Stormwater Utility Coordinator for
the City of Richmond, Indiana should be established; and
WHEREAS, it has further been determined that such position should report to, and be
supervised by, the Director of Public Works and Engineering of the City of Richmond, but, due to
the specific nature of the work to be performed by the incumbent of such position, which will
directly benefit the Richmond Sanitary District, should be totally funded from the budget of the
Richmond Sanitary District; and
WHEREAS, the City and RSD desire to set forth in writing the terms of this agreement
through this Interlocal Agreement regarding the hiring, supervision and funding of a Stormwater
Utility Coordinator with the RSD and the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the terms and conditions contained herein,
including the above stated recitals, the parties agree as follows:
1. STORMWATER UTILITY COORDINATOR. There is a need for a Stormwater
Utility Coordinator for RSD as well as the City of Richmond. The Stormwater Utility
Coordinator will be an employee of the City of Richmond.
2. SALARY FOR 2010. The salary for the Stormwater Utility Coordinator shall total
$42,000.00 for 2010, with benefits as follows:
Social Security $2,604.00
Medicare $609.00
PERF $1,995.00
Health insurance $6,327.70
The total amount of salary and benefits for such position, $53,535.70, shall be paid
entirely from the budget of the Richmond Sanitary District.

SUPERVISION. The Director of Public Works and Engineering shall supervise the
Stormwater Utility Coordinator. The office of the Stormwater Utility Coordinator will
be stationed at the Department of Public Works and Engineering.
4. MISCELLANEOUS. This Agreement shall be construed according to the laws of the
State of Indiana.
AMENDMENTS. No amendment or modification to this Interlocal Agreement shall
be made except in writing and signed by both parties.
6. AUTHORIZATION. The individuals signing below represent that they have full
authorization to execute this document on behalf of either the City of Richmond or the
Richmond Sanitary District.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties execute this Agreement as of the date first set forth above
although signatures may be fixed at a different time.
