A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A TIME EXTENSION FOR COMPLETION OF
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND APPROVING A PERFORMANCE
GUARANTEE FOR TAVISTOCK FARMS SECTION 9, 10, (ll&12),
14, 18, (13,19,20 & 21) AND THE OFFSITE WATERLINE
WHEREAS, Arcadia Building Company, the developer of Tavistock Farms Section 9,
10, (ll&12), 14, 18, (13,19,20 & 21) and the Offsite Waterline, has not completed all the
required public improvements in accordance with the approved construction drawings and town
standards within the two-year period agreed to in the contract for public improvements and
previously approved time extensions; and
WHEREAS, the developer has requested a one (1) year time extension to complete the
public improvements; and
WHEREAS, corporate surety bonds in the following amounts from The American
Insurance Company were provided by the developer to guarantee the installation of public
improvements in Tavistock Farms Sections 9, 10, (ll&12), 14, 18, (13,19,20 & 21) and the
Offsite Waterline:

THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:

AUTHORIZING A TIME EXTENSION FOR COMPLETION OF
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN TAVISTOCK FARMS SECTION 9, 10,
(1 l&12), 14, 18, (13,19,20 & 21) AND THE OFFSITE WATERLINE
SECTION I. The corporate surety bonds from The American Insurance Company are
approved to guarantee the installation of public improvements in Tavistock Farms Sections 9, 10,
(1 l&12), 14, 18, (13,19,20 & 21) and the Offsite Waterline.
SECTION II. A six (6) month time extension to October 23, 1999 for completion of the
public improvements is approved·
