AUTHORIZING A STREET CLOSING FOR THE MARCH FOR JESUS 1999
WHEREAS, the Cruising for Christ Organization will be hosting a "March for Jesus" at Ida Lee
Park and in downtown Leesburg on Saturday, May 22, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the event requires the closing of North King Street from Battlefield Parkway to
Market Street between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the town Police and Public Works Department have approved the respective street
closing; and
WHEREAS, the staff costs and rental fees associated with the event is $620.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The acting town manager is hereby authorized to close North King Street from
Battlefield Parkway to Market Street between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May
22, 1999.
SECTION II.
$620 associated with the event.
