AWARDING A PURCHASE
ROLLER
PRESENTED May 25, 1999

CONTRACT FOR A PAVEMENT
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received for a pavement roller; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder was the Vernon E. Stup
Equipment Company of Frederick, Maryland; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering and Public Works recommends award of the
contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The Acting Town Manager is authorized to execute a purchase contract for a pavement
roller with Vernon E. Stup Equipment Company in accordance with the bid documents and
specifications at a price of $23,450.00.
