WHEREAS, The Board of Sanitary Commissioners of the Richmond Sanitary District passed an
annual budget for calendar year 2010 on September 23rd, 2009 and
WHEREAS, the requirement that there must be ten (10) days between the public hearing and the
adoption date was not met which led to the entire budget being denied by the Department of
Local Government Finance, and
WHEREAS, it is now necessary to request an additional appropriation to re- establish the
appropriations for 2010.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Sanitary Commissioners of the Richmond
Sanitary District that the additional appropriations are hereby approved for the funds as indicated:
Sanitation Solid Waste $4,985,522.00
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of February 2010.
