AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE A CUMULATIVE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
FUND OF THE RICHMOND SANITARY DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Board of Sanitary Commissioners by Resolution No. 33-1980 is
requesting the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana
to authorize said Board to create a Cummulative Capital Improve-
ment Fund; and
WHEREAS, I.C. 18-1-1.5-16 and I.C. 18-1-1.5-17 would authorize the creation
of such fund by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana to be operated by the Board of Sanitary Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana finds that
the creation of such fund would be of benefit to the public health
and welfare of the people of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that:
1. There is hereby created a fund of the Richmond Sanitary
District to be known as the Cumulative Capital Improvement Fund.
2. The Board of Sanitary Commissioners of the City of Richmond,
Indiana shall have full, complete and exclusive control of said fund as
set out in I.C. 19-2-14-1 through I.C. 19-2-14-32, including the amount of
money to be placed into said fund in each calendar year and the purpose of
said fund.
3. The monies placed in said fund shall be appropriated from
such sources as stipulated by the Board of Sanitary Commissioners under
the appropriate appropriation statutes and in accordance with I.C.19-2-14-28.
