AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CUSTODIAL MAINTENANCE SERVICE AT
THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT CENTER
and
and
WHEREAS, interim service has been provided by a month-to-month agreement with Carol J. Smith;
WHEREAS, on June 11, 1999, the town received bids on a new multi-year contract; and
WHEREAS, Mark S. Hergesheimer submitted a low bid and was determined to be responsive and
responsible to provide the required services; and
WHEREAS, the new contract will be for an initial period of t 1-months starting August 1, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the contract provides for four successive one-year renewals contingent upon satisfactory
service and mutual agreement on cost adjustment.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Acting Town Manager is authorized to execute a contract in the amount of $51,280 for custodial
maintenance service at the Municipal Government Center for the initial 11-month period to Mark S.
Hergesheimer.

Government Center; and
WHEREAS, the current multi-year contract was canceled because of financial default of IMME Inc.;
