AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE POLICE PENSION FUND.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money
than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the
several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified,
subject to the laws governing the same:

SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have
unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which
appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be
reduced in the following amounts.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana

that the proper legal officers of said Municipal Corporation at their regular meeting

The Common Council of the C:i_ty of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session .in the
Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City April 20, 1981 ,
at the hour of 7:30 p.m.
CouncilmanMills presided with the following members present:
Messrs. Eistro Williams Ahaus
Hankinson Welch Parker
Carter , Paust
Absent: 0
The following business was had to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of April 8 and April 15
Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the 20th day of
April 1981 , by the Common Council to consider additional appropria-
tions as provided for in Ordinance No. 16-1981 , within the City of
Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined
and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Welch moved the
proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed,
seconded by Councilman Hankinson and on voice vote the motion was
carried.
