APPOINTING CHUCK SHOTTON AND RE-APPOINTING RICHARD
HERNDON, BILLY FISKE, AND DEBORAH WILLIAMS TO THE CABLE TV
ADVISORY COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Cable Commission member Ralph Marr relinquished his seat on the Cable
Commission to serve on the Board of Architectural Review; and
WHEREAS, on June 29, 1999, the Council held interviews of prospective candidates; and
WHEREAS, the terms of office of Cable Commission members Richard Hemdon, Billy Fiske and
Deborah Williams expired on June 30, 1999; and
WHEREAS, Cable Commission members Richard Herndon and Deborah Williams are franchisee
appointments, appointed by the Town Council with the consent of the Cable franchisee; and
WHEREAS, representatives of Cablevision of Loudoun were contacted and have consented to the
re-appointment of Richard Herndon and Deborah Williams; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of each of these members to be re-appointed; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Leesburg Town Council to re-appoint these members.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. Chuck Shotton is hereby appointed for a two year term to expire on June 30, 2001.
SECTION II. Richard Herndon, Billy Fiske and Deborah Williams are re-appointed for two year
terms to expire on June 30, 2001.
