RESOLUTION NO. 99-221 ADOPTED July 27, 1999
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING STREET LIGHTING ON CLUBHOUSE DRIVE AND
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION
WHEREAS, citizens on Clubhouse Drive have requested street lighting between South
King Street and the cul-de-sac on Clubhouse Drive; and
WHEREAS, this area of Clubhouse Drive has poor lighting; and
WHEREAS, the town has received a cost estimate from Virginia Power to install street
lights along this area for a cost of $24,947.89.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The acting town manager is directed to sign a standard purchase order
requisition not to exceed $24,947.89 for installation of street lighting on Clubhouse Drive.
SECTION II. An appropriation in the amount of $24,947.89 from the unappropriated
General Fund balance to account #200.4104.700.722, street lighting installation, is hereby
authorized.
