AUTHORIZING AN EASEMENT FOR NORTHERN VIRGINIA ELECTRIC
COOPERATIVE ON THE TUSCARORA CREEK PARK SITE AT THE
KINCAID FOREST DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, public improvements are being completed at the Tuscarora Creek Park Site owned
by the Town of Leesburg at the Kincaid Forest Development; and
WHEREAS, the Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative, has requested an easement for
underground utility lines on land owned by the Town of Leesburg at the Kincaid Forest Development to
provide electric service to the park pavilion and to
the street lights at Solitude Court; and
WHEREAS, electric power is necessary to service the park pavilion and the street lights; and
WHEREAS, the right-of-way agreement has been submitted to the Deputy Town Attorney and
Director of Engineering and Public Works for review; and
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Mayor is authorized to sign the right-of-way agreement for an easement requested by
Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative on the Tuscarora Creek Park Site at the Kineaid Forest
Development. The right-of-way agreement shall be in a form approved by the Town Attorney.
