AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF OBJECT AUTOMATION SOFTWARE
WHEREAS, expansion and upgrade of the town's water and wastewater facilities includes the
purchase of new supervisory control system software for both facilities; and
WHEREAS, the town's consultant, CH2M Hill, Inc., evaluated the four most popular software
manufacturers for this application and recommends purchase of Object Automation's "OA ENTERPRISE
99"; and
WI-IEREAS, the town has negotiated a three year contract for purchase, training, support and
warranty with Object Automation in the amount of $59,160, for providing software at both facilities.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The acting town manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Object
Automation, in the amount of $59,160.00, per the terms of OA's proposal number OH 0699-111.
