RESOLUTION NO. 99- 243
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A PUBLIC HEARING
REVOLOVING LOAN FUND LOAN C-515230
PRESENTED August 10, 1999
ADOPTED August 10, 1999
FOR VIRGINIA WASTEWATER
WHEREAS, the Virginia Water Control Board, on December 3, 1998, authorized a 20-year loan, in
the amount of $8,540,250, to fund the non-grant eligible expenses of the BNR and BMU projects at the
town's Water Pollution Control Facility; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Resources Authority requires the borrower to publish notice of and hold a
public hearing regarding the debt, adopt an ordinance and bond resolution, and allow for expiration of a 30-
day appeal period prior to closing; and
WHEREAS, the closing date for the loan has been tentatively set for October 15, 1999.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
A notice of public hearing to consider said bond indenture is hereby authorized. Notification shall
be published in Leesburg Today on September 1st and 8th, 1999, for a public hearing to be held on
Tuesday, September 14, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 25 West Market Street, Leesburg,
Virginia.
