A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, town departments have submitted equipment and vehicles as surplus for
disposal; and
WHEREAS, town surplus property must be disposed of in accordance with procurement
policies.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The following equipment, vehicles and other items are declared surplus
property by the Town Council:

SECTION II. The town manager is authorized and directed to advertise and sell the
surplus equipment, vehicles and other items in accordance with the town's purchasing policy.
SECTION III. The auction will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 1999 at mid-day at
the Town Shop located at 1393 East Market Street and will be conducted by town staff.
