A RESOLUTION:
PRESENTED October 12, 1999
ADOPTED October 12, 1999
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SELF-CONTAINED JET RODDER
AND VACUUM FOR CLEANING SEWER LINES
WHEREAS, the current Capital Improvements Program and Council adopted FY2000 budget
includes purchase of a self-contained jet rodder and sewer vacuum for the Utility Lines Division's
maintenance activities; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were solicited, received, and opened pursuant to state and local
procurement laws on September 20, 1999:

and;
WHEREAS, the Director of Utilities recommends purchase of this equipment from the lowest
responsive and responsible bidder, Atlantic Machinery, Inc., in the amount of $159,857.00.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The town manager is hereby directed to purchase this equipment from Atlantic Machinery of Silver
Spring, Maryland in an amount not to exceed $159,857.00.
