RESOLUTION NO. 99-333 ADOPTED November 9, 1999
A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH EHT TRACERIES INC FOR PHASE
Ill OF THE OLD AND HISTORIC DISTRICT BUILDING SURVEY IN THE
AMOUNT OF $18,000
WHEREAS, the State of Virginia has awarded a $14,000.00 grant to the Town of
Leesburg for completion of the building survey of the Old and Historic District which the town
has been conducting for the previous two years; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg's portion of the project is $4,000.00 under the grant
agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg duly advertised and received proposals on
September 22, 1999 from two consultants that met the Federal Professional Qualifications
Standards of 36 FR for Architectural Historian as required by the Virginia Department of
Historic Resources; and
WHEREAS, following an interview by a committee from the Leesburg Planning
Department and the Thomas Balch Library, it was determined that the consultant met the criteria
of selection and the consultant agrees to the scope of work for the project amount of $18,000.00;
and
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The Town Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with EHT Traceries
Inc. in a form approved by the town attorney, for completion of the building survey of the Old
and Historic District in the amount of $18,000.00.
