RESOLUTION NO 99-348 ADOPTED November 23,
A RESOLUTION: PERMITTING AN ASPHALT TRAIL WITHIN THE UNUSED
RIGHT-OF-WAY OF OLD LAWSON ROAD
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg Planning Commission requested Elite
Investment & Management Group to consider extending an asphalt trail along "Old
Lawson Road" as part of developing the Beauregard Estates, Phase 4 subdivision; and
WHEREAS, Elite Investment & Management Group has agreed to construct an
asphalt trail along "Old Lawson Road" in the area shown on the attached sketch; and
WHEREAS, locating a trail within "Old Lawson Road" is consistent with the
Bikeway Policies and Transportation Policy Map of the 1997 Town Plan.
THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
as follows:
SECTION I. The installation of an asphalt trail along the unused portion of "old
Lawson Road" as agreed to by Elite Investment & Management Group as shown on the
attached sketch is hereby approved.
SECTION II. This resolution shall be in effect upon its passage.
